As a well-established company in the wine industry, Delicato Family Wines is known for its commitment to quality, innovation, and sustainable practices. The company excels in crafting exceptional wines enjoyed internationally and has built a reputation as a leader in the beverage industry. Known for fostering a culture of high moral standards, continuous improvement, and trust, Delicato Family Wines offers a dynamic and inclusive workplace for its employees. The company’s core values emphasize innovation, sustainable relationships, and a safe work environment, which extends to all areas of the business, including their front-of-house operations where guest experience is paramount.

The position of Busser at Delicato Family Wines plays a vital support role within the restaurant setting, working closely with servers to ensure guests receive excellent service and quality dining experiences. This role is focused on maintaining the cleanliness and order of dining spaces, specifically by clearing and resetting tables according to company standards. The Busser is instrumental in upholding the presentation of the front-of-house environment, making sure it is always inviting and presentable. Beyond maintenance duties, the Busser assists servers by providing knowledge of the food menu and wine selections, helping to enhance guest satisfaction and drive sales through informed recommendations. This includes assisting with wine presentations and supporting the server with proper plate presentation and garnish setup, which requires attention to detail and an understanding of hospitality standards.

The Busser also acts as a critical communication link between the dining room, kitchen staff, service team, and management, ensuring that guest needs are promptly addressed and any issues during shifts are escalated appropriately. The role demands a proactive approach to improving service efficiency, maximizing revenue opportunities, and contributing to the overall success of the restaurant operations. Working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, the Busser must be adaptable, capable of multitasking, and committed to delivering top-notch service with excellent communication skills.

This is a non-exempt position with a competitive pay range of $17.00 to $23.03 per hour, influenced by factors such as qualifications, experience, and internal equity. Delicato Family Wines provides an extensive benefits package that includes comprehensive health insurance (medical, dental, vision), life and disability insurance, flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) plan with a generous company match, discretionary profit sharing, paid time off (PTO), paid holidays, and employee discounts on wine and merchandise. Additional perks such as tuition reimbursement and gym discounts are also offered, underlining the company’s commitment to employee well-being and growth. This role requires candidates to be available to work weekends and holidays and to handle the physical demands of the job, including lifting cases of wine when needed. Delicato Family Wines encourages a team-oriented mindset and promotes a workplace culture that values safety, continuous learning, and sustainable development.
