Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Previous restaurant experience preferred
- TIPS certification or certified within 90 days of employment
- CA Food Handlers certification required
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in high paced work environment
- Ability to multitask, troubleshoot, and prioritize

Job Duties
- Maintains cleanliness and order throughout dining and work areas by clearing, collecting and returning food and beverage items to proper areas
- Clears tables and resets them neatly and according to specification
- Ensures the front-of-house is presentable to guests
- Maintains knowledge of food menu and provides recommendations in describing menu items to guests to drive sales
- Assists server with providing wine presentations and recommendations
- Assists server in following proper plate presentation and garnish setup details
- Promotes restaurants, wines, tasting room, wine club and upcoming events
- Works with kitchen staff to ensure food is expedited quickly and correctly
- Communicates with service staff and managers about guest needs
- Takes the lead in any guest issues that may arise during your shift and communicates to the manager/supervisor
- Looks for ways to improve service, streamline the efficiency and maximize revenue possibilities
