Live Nation's Concerts Division is the birthplace of tours, the stage where artists come to life, and the place where fans experience the thrill of live music. Their scope ranges from owned and operated amphitheaters to a global touring team and spans departments including ticketing, venue operations, marketing, and sales. The company fosters a vibrant, upbeat work culture full of exciting opportunities, complemented by perks like free concert tickets, dog-friendly offices, student loan reimbursement, and adoption/fertility support. It is recognized as a Great Place to Work organization and one of People Magazine's "50 Companies that Care." Live Nation is dedicated to ensuring everyone feels a sense of belonging and the ability to thrive professionally and personally. With a strong passion for live music as their foundation, joining Live Nation at this moment offers an unparalleled career opportunity.
The role at Live Nation is focused on maintaining restaurant cleanliness with efficiency and professionalism, while contributing to an excellent guest experience. It involves performing table maintenance duties according to House of Blues (HOB) service standards, ensuring the restaurant’s operating environment is safe, clean, and welcoming for all patrons. This position requires managing opening, running, and closing duties as prescribed by HOB standards, responding promptly and courteously to guest inquiries, and maintaining atmosphere control by monitoring the work area continuously throughout shifts.
Additional responsibilities include safely transporting bus tubs weighing up to 40 pounds from table areas to the dish room, keeping ice bins stocked at full levels, keeping floors neat and obstacle-free, cleaning spills immediately with appropriate signage, disposing of trash and recyclables according to local codes, and following all housekeeping and safety policies. The role also involves preparing the dining area with pre-rolled table paper, staying current on menu items and descriptions, and adhering to private party service guidelines to ensure successful events. Employees are expected to assist colleagues when necessary, attend pre-shift meetings, and reliably turn in lost and found items. Maintaining high safety and sanitation standards completes the scope of the job.
Live Nation seeks passionate, motivated individuals who embody drive, entrepreneurial spirit, resourcefulness, innovation, forward thinking, and strong commitment. Ideal candidates demonstrate exceptional communication skills, a sense of urgency, time management skills, and critical thinking abilities. High school diploma holders with experience in high-volume kitchen or food service operations, particularly as expeditors or servers, will find this role fitting. Certifications in Responsible Alcohol Awareness or their equivalents are mandatory. Preference is given to candidates with the ability to communicate in Spanish and possess point of sales experience.
The job environment is fast-paced and physically demanding, requiring prolonged periods of standing and the ability to lift or move up to 25 pounds safely. Live Nation is committed to equal employment opportunities, encouraging applications from all individuals regardless of gender, race, age, disability, or other protected characteristics. Reasonable accommodations are provided to qualified individuals to support diverse and inclusive work environments. This position emphasizes a balance between professional growth and personal aspirations, making it a unique chance to be part of the vibrant and dynamic live entertainment industry.
