The role of a Busser at Eddie Merlot’s, part of Dividend Restaurant Group, plays a crucial role in delivering the high-quality guest service central to Eddie Merlot’s mission. Bussers support the dining room team by maintaining the cleanliness and readiness of tables, assisting in guest service, and ensuring the overall dining environment meets the restaurant’s standards. Key responsibilities include setting and resetting tables, refilling water glasses, serving bread and butter, restocking utensils and glassware, and assisting servers and bartenders. This position is non-exempt, part-time or full-time depending on store needs, with a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional special events or banquets. It demands physical endurance, teamwork, and attention to detail as bussers spend significant time on their feet and must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
