Job Requirements
- Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, stand, walk, or be on feet for extended periods
- Ability to work in wet, hot, and humid conditions and walk on slippery and uneven surfaces
- Ability to occasionally lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs individually or with assistance
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior guest service experience preferred
- Prior restaurant experience preferred
Job Qualifications
- Prior guest service experience is preferred
- Prior work experience in a restaurant is preferred
- Knowledge of company policies and procedures
- Understanding how to assist customers and meet their needs effectively
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English, Spanish is a plus
- Ability to work under stressful circumstances
- Ability to adapt quickly to changes in processes, customer flow, environments, and tasks
- Ability to engage with customers positively
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Job Duties
- Follow designated opening and closing procedures for the restaurant including housekeeping functions for restaurant, bar, and restroom areas
- Ensure all food items are stocked and alert manager to items which are out of stock
- Complete side work duties to prepare the restaurant for service
- Engage with guests to assist and ensure their needs are met
- Clean and clear tables efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of bus stations including removal of trash, recycling, and composting
- Move tables, chairs, and bus stations to facilitate housekeeping
- Complete tasks and projects delegated by the manager and assist elsewhere as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
