Job Requirements

  • Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, stand, walk, or be on feet for extended periods
  • Ability to work in wet, hot, and humid conditions and walk on slippery and uneven surfaces
  • Ability to occasionally lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs individually or with assistance
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior guest service experience preferred
  • Prior restaurant experience preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Prior guest service experience is preferred
  • Prior work experience in a restaurant is preferred
  • Knowledge of company policies and procedures
  • Understanding how to assist customers and meet their needs effectively
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English, Spanish is a plus
  • Ability to work under stressful circumstances
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changes in processes, customer flow, environments, and tasks
  • Ability to engage with customers positively
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Job Duties

  • Follow designated opening and closing procedures for the restaurant including housekeeping functions for restaurant, bar, and restroom areas
  • Ensure all food items are stocked and alert manager to items which are out of stock
  • Complete side work duties to prepare the restaurant for service
  • Engage with guests to assist and ensure their needs are met
  • Clean and clear tables efficiently
  • Maintain cleanliness of bus stations including removal of trash, recycling, and composting
  • Move tables, chairs, and bus stations to facilitate housekeeping
  • Complete tasks and projects delegated by the manager and assist elsewhere as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned
