This position is a full-time, non-management role within the Food and Beverage Department at The Westin Chicago River North, specifically involved with providing top-tier service in the culinary and catering areas. As a Food and Beverage team member, your primary responsibility is to ensure guests receive professional, courteous, and efficient presentation of food and beverage services. This includes welcoming guests warmly, serving water, bread, and coffee proactively, and engaging with guests by name whenever possible to enhance their dining experience. Part of the role also includes detailed attention to cleanliness and organization, such as setting up and cleaning tables, inspecting china, glassware, and silverware, and maintaining an orderly workspace throughout the shift.

The position demands significant physical activity, including standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and navigating uneven or slippery surfaces safely. Employees must adhere strictly to health and safety standards, following company policies and procedures to create a safe environment for both guests and coworkers.
