Job Description
Delaware North Sportservice is a premier hospitality and food service provider operating at American Family Field, the home stadium of the Milwaukee Brewers located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. With a rich history of managing concessions, premium dining services, and unique culinary experiences, Delaware North ensures that guests enjoy top-quality food and beverage options within a world-class sports venue. The company also operates J. Leinenkugel's Barrel Yard Brewery, Bar, and Restaurant, enhancing the local flavor by collaborating with many Milwaukee-based vendors to deliver authentic culinary staples. Delaware North boasts over 100 years of family-owned legacy, emphasizing a people-centric approach and fostering growth opportunities within its extensive global operations across diverse areas including sports arenas, casinos, national parks, and more.
Delaware North Sportservice is currently seeking seasonal Bussers to join their team at American Family Field. The role offers an hourly wage of $8.00, with opportunities to earn a comprehensive benefits package available to eligible team members. The Busser position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and who are passionate about delivering outstanding service to guests. Bussers play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall flow of the dining room by clearing dishes, resetting tables, and assisting servers when necessary. The position demands exemplary time management skills, the ability to adapt to changing priorities, and effective communication with both team members and management.
Bussers check in with management at the start of each shift for daily duties and station assignments, participate in pre-shift briefings to stay informed about service updates, and may occasionally assist in running food and beverages to tables. Maintaining cleanliness involves thorough sanitation of dining room surfaces, equipment, utensils, tables, chairs, floors, and windows. Bussers are responsible for promptly removing dirty dishes, silverware, glassware, and linens, ensuring they are sorted and placed correctly for cleaning. They also reset tables accurately according to the floor plan or management instructions, and handle trash removal as needed.
The position requires a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, demanding physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and carry trays weighing up to 35 pounds. Ideal candidates will have prior experience or training in similar dining environments, excellent communication skills, and must be at least 18 years of age. This seasonal opportunity offers a dynamic work environment where team members can develop professionally while contributing to memorable guest experiences in one of Milwaukee's most iconic sports venues. Delaware North values diversity and inclusion, welcoming applicants from all backgrounds and legal protections, and is committed to equal employment opportunities.
