The Busser position at The Brigantine is an essential frontline role in maintaining the quality and efficiency of the dining experience. Primarily, this role involves clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables promptly and efficiently to prepare for the next guest. In addition to these key responsibilities, the Busser assists servers by anticipating guests' and coworkers' needs and exceeding service expectations. Job Requirements
- Ability to work positively and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to stand, walk, reach, bend, stoop, and wipe for extended periods of time
- Must be able to carry trays and supplies (up to 50 lbs)
- Restaurant experience is a plus but not required
- We offer on-the-job training
- A desire to help where needed and work as part of a team

Job Duties
- Cleaning and sweeping the dining areas of the restaurant
- Cleaning, sanitizing, and resetting each table for the next guest
- Taking out the garbage
- Stocking stations with necessary supplies
- Cleaning the bathrooms
- Anticipate guests’ and coworkers’ needs and exceed guest service expectations
- Protects establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation and safety policies
- Maintain composure in a fast-paced environment
- Respond urgently and appropriately to guests’ and coworkers’ needs
- Exhibit a professional appearance and mannerisms
- Ensure guests are enjoying their experience and take action to correct any problems
- Concludes the guest experience by acknowledging choice of establishment and inviting patrons to return
- Complete assigned sidework at the beginning, during, and at end of shift
