Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a food runner in a hotel or restaurant preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent education preferred
- Flexible availability to include days, evenings, weekdays, weekends and holidays
- Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize, organize and follow up
- Ability to think clearly and solve problems using good judgment
- Ability to follow directions thoroughly
- Ability to understand guest service needs
- Ability to work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Maintain confidentiality of guest information
- Ability to speak, read and write English
- Ability to exert physical effort in transporting up to 35 pounds
- Ability to endure various physical movements throughout work areas
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and co-workers
- No licenses or certifications required

Job Duties
- Arriving on time for every shift to help prepare the dining room, bar and lounge for opening, ensuring sufficient silverware, glassware, and ice
- Attending team pre-shift meetings at 5:00pm
- Supporting the main dining room and bar/lounge in any capacity needed
- Correctly setting tables according to restaurant specifications
- Clearing dirty glassware, plateware, and debris from guest tables to the dishwashing area
- Assisting food runners during peak hours or with large parties to deliver food to the proper table and seat number
- Ensuring guest water glasses are filled at all times
