Mashup Food Hall is a vibrant, multi-concept culinary and entertainment venue that brings together a collection of food vendors, bar services, and community events under one roof. Known for its dynamic atmosphere and commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences, Mashup Food Hall serves as a gathering spot where people can enjoy diverse culinary offerings paired with lively live music and events. The food hall’s focus on community and quality service makes it a unique destination for locals and visitors alike. As an establishment that values teamwork, hospitality, and adaptability, Mashup Food Hall fosters an inclusive environment for both staff and guests. The venue features indoor and patio seating areas designed to accommodate a variety of social and dining experiences, making it a hub for food lovers and event attendees throughout the year.
The Busser & Event Support role at Mashup Food Hall is an essential position within the Front-of-House team, designed for energetic and reliable individuals who thrive in fast-paced, customer-centric settings. This role plays a key part in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for guests while supporting bar operations, food vendors, and community-driven events hosted at the venue. Ideal candidates will enjoy working collaboratively in a multi-concept setting, helping reset tables, assist during live music nights, and facilitate smooth event setups and breakdowns.
As a Busser & Event Support team member, you will be responsible for managing various tasks that contribute to an exceptional guest experience. This includes maintaining guest-ready conditions across indoor, patio, and event seating areas; efficiently clearing and resetting tables; and managing tray and glassware return stations to keep Front-of-House areas clutter-free. You’ll assist bar staff by restocking glassware and ice and removing trash to ensure uninterrupted service during peak hours. Additionally, your role extends to supporting event logistics such as moving tables, stocking supplies, and resetting layouts for private rentals, live music performances, and ticketed events, ensuring the venue operates seamlessly from start to finish.
This position requires a strong commitment to upholding cleanliness and safety standards compliant with health regulations, along with the ability to jump in and assist coworkers and vendors as needed. Participation in pre-shift meetings for event and service updates is also a key component, helping you stay informed and prepared for each shift. Working at Mashup Food Hall offers an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team that values positive energy, adaptability, and a "no task too small" mindset. This role is suited for individuals who are at least 18 years old and are eager to contribute to a lively and guest-focused hospitality environment. If you are passionate about creating memorable experiences and enjoy a varied workload in a high-volume setting, this position offers a rewarding path to grow within the hospitality industry.
