The Busser role is a vital part of our service team, focused on supporting the dining room operations to ensure a seamless guest experience. This position involves maintaining cleanliness, organization, and readiness of the dining environment before, during, and after service periods. The role demands a proactive attitude to anticipate guest needs and a collaborative spirit to work closely with servers, hosts, bartenders, and kitchen staff. The Busser is expected to uphold our high standards of hygiene, safety, and professionalism, contributing to the overall positive impression of our establishment. Job Duties

  • Greet guests in a courteous and professional manner while clearing or resetting tables
  • assist servers by refilling water, delivering bread or condiments, and providing additional utensils or napkins as requested
  • anticipate guest needs and communicate requests promptly to the appropriate team member
  • provide attentive, friendly, and efficient support to ensure a positive guest experience
  • efficiently clear used dishes, glassware, and utensils as guests finish dining
  • reset tables with clean linens, silverware, and glassware promptly and neatly
  • maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dining room, service stations, and surrounding areas
  • ensure tablecloths, floors, and chairs remain clean and orderly throughout service
  • refill and restock bread, condiments, beverages, silverware, and other service items as needed
  • keep bussing carts, side stations, and service areas well-stocked and tidy
  • assist with setup and breakdown of buffet areas, banquets, or special events when required
  • notify management promptly of any shortages, maintenance issues, or damaged equipment
  • follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures when handling dishes and tableware
  • adhere to company policies, uniform standards, and appearance guidelines
  • follow safety protocols and immediately report any hazards or incidents to management
  • work closely with servers, hosts, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
  • offer assistance to teammates during busy periods to maintain service excellence
  • communicate effectively with supervisors regarding guest concerns or operational needs
  • participate in a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and collaboration aligned with the company’s mission, vision, and values
  • all other duties as assigned
