The role available is for a busser, a crucial position within the front-of-house team at Jalapeno Tree. A busser plays a key role in supporting servers and enhancing the overall guest experience by maintaining a clean and organized dining environment. In this position, you will be responsible for setting and resetting tables in accordance with restaurant standards, clearing used dishes, utensils, and glassware promptly to keep the dining area running smoothly, and assisting in replenishing supplies and organizing the service areas. Furthermore, the busser will assist with opening and closing duties, including trash disposal and cleaning tasks such as sweeping and mopping floors. Communication skills are essential, as you will be coordinating with the front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and a pleasant dining experience for guests. Physical stamina is important for this job due to the requirement to stand for prolonged periods, move quickly, bend, twist, and lift items up to 50 pounds.
