The role offered is for a Busser, a key position within the restaurant team responsible for supporting the overall dining experience. The Busser's primary responsibility is maintaining an efficient and appealing dining environment by quickly clearing and resetting tables, supporting the waitstaff, and assisting in general upkeep throughout service hours. This role requires excellent organizational skills and a professional, positive manner while working collaboratively with other team members. The Busser plays a crucial part in delivering excellent guest service according to established standards and training manuals.

This full-time position demands the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, often noisy environment, demonstrating physical stamina to stand for long periods and handle lifting requirements. The Busser will manage side stations, maintain clean glassware and flatware, assist in distribution of bread and water, and help keep restrooms and work areas clean and stocked. Additionally, the Busser responds promptly and politely to guest requests, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable dining experience. They also complete side work daily and weekly as required, contributing significantly to the overall operations and guest satisfaction.

The Busser is accountable for adhering to all company policies, acting in the guests' best interests to build ongoing business and prevent complaints. This position requires clear communication skills in English and the ability to maintain a consistently fast pace throughout shifts. Job Duties

  • Provide excellent guest service according to expectations outlined in the training manual
  • maintain, clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently
  • assist with delivery of bread and water service
  • pre-bus and maintain tables consistently throughout shift
  • stock and maintain side stations
  • stock and maintain clean glassware, flatware and work areas throughout the restaurant
  • stock and maintain linen pars and levels
  • respond to guest requests in a clear and polite manner
  • complete daily and weekly side work on a consistent and thorough basis
  • assist other team members as necessary
  • stock and maintain cleanliness of restrooms
  • complete additional tasks as assigned by the management team
  • keep management informed of any problems, complaints from guests or other team members
  • follow all company policies as outlined in company handbook
