Currently, P.F. Chang's is hiring for full-time and part-time hourly positions for Bussers, Runners, or Service Assistants who will play a vital role in restaurant dine-in and takeout operations. These positions offer a pay range of $16.90 to $18.90 per hour based on experience, along with additional tips. The role is integral to the overall guest experience, involving tasks such as cleaning, running food, bussing tables, and providing side work. Additionally, team members in this role will support catering orders and may assist with delivery when appropriate.

The Busser, Runner, or Service Assistant is expected to demonstrate outstanding customer service by offering an individualized and exceptional guest experience. They are responsible for guiding guests through the ordering process, ensuring orders are accurate for both takeout and catering, and assisting with any questions guests may have about the menu. They must also maintain cleanliness and organization in the restaurant, restock supplies, and help in delivering food and beverages for dine-in and takeout services. This role requires effective communication skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and compliance with food safety and sanitation protocols.

Job Qualifications

  • Excellent customer service skills and etiquette
  • Ability to operate kitchen equipment including coffee machine, iced tea machine, lemon slicer, and point of sale (POS) system
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-based environment
  • Food Handler’s Card where applicable or willingness to obtain

Job Duties

  • Guide guests through their dining experience while taking, placing, and reviewing orders for takeout and catering
  • Understand the restaurant menu to assist guests in choosing menu items and answering questions
  • Review orders with guests at pick-up or delivery to ensure accuracy
  • Deliver exceptional hospitality by anticipating and exceeding guests' expectations
  • Clear, clean, and sanitize restaurant tables and buss dishes to the kitchen dishwasher station
  • Restock, clean, and maintain all restaurant stations
  • Serve food or beverages for dine-in and takeout
