The Radisson Hotel Salt Lake City Downtown, a key establishment within our managed hotels portfolio including Radisson Blu, Radisson, Radisson Red, Park Plaza, and Country Inn & Suites, is currently seeking a Busser/Attendant/Server Assistant to join our vibrant Food & Beverage team. Located within walking distance of downtown attractions and events, the Radisson Hotel offers an exciting, fast-paced work environment where no two days are the same. The role is essential in maintaining a clean dining area by efficiently bussing tables while delivering courteous and attentive service.
This position demands a team-spirited, energetic individual who thrives in a high-pressure hospitality setting and values genuine guest interaction. Responsibilities include greeting guests, assisting servers, clearing and resetting tables promptly, and ensuring the dining environment remains spotless and welcoming. The Busser/Attendant/Server Assistant contributes significantly to delivering the Radisson experience by exceeding guest expectations and providing personalized attention through teamwork and effective communication. The position also involves upholding legal standards and training guidelines for alcohol service and may include additional duties such as dishwashing during peak times. Candidates must display excellent attention to detail, multitasking abilities, and strong communication skills, with a demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively. Physical demands include standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds regularly, and operating in variable temperature and noisy environments, necessitating proper lifting techniques and physical stamina.

Job Duties
- Obtain service area assignments at the beginning of each shift
- Promptly greet guests as they are seated and bring water to tables
- Remove used tableware between courses and provide tableware for the next course
- Clear tables after guests and transport tableware to the dish room
- Clean table tops, chairs, booths, and floors between seating
- Reset and arrange tabletops
- Respond appropriately to guest requests and communicate them to servers
- Assist servers with food delivery during peak periods and large parties
- Thank guests as they leave
- Fill in as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations
- Wash dishes in absence of dishwasher or as directed
- Abide by legal standards and TIPS alcohol training guidelines
- Provide 100% guest satisfaction through genuine hospitality
- Listen, empathize, and resolve guest issues
- Exhibit team spirit and assist other staff members as required
