The culture in such establishments emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and a genuine desire to assist guests effectively and courteously. This particular position is focused on a critical support role within the food and beverage department, helping to maintain the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant area within the hotel setting.

The role of the busser is integral to the overall dining experience of restaurant patrons. As a busser, you will be primarily responsible for assisting servers by maintaining cleanliness and readiness of the dining area. This collaborative role requires a proactive approach to guest services, including greeting guests, responding to their requests, and maintaining an inviting environment.

In this position, you will have the opportunity to engage directly with guests, ensuring their dining experience is uninterrupted and pleasurable. The role demands attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and adherence to all health, safety, and liquor laws as applicable. Team members are expected to be familiar with menu items and daily specials to support guests and servers effectively. Additionally, responsibilities include performing opening and closing duties, cash handling in some instances, restocking supplies, and complying with the hotel’s grooming and service standards.
