Job Requirements
- Ability to move throughout the dining room effectively
- Ability to lift and carry serving trays weighing up to 15lbs and bus tubs weighing up to 40 lbs
- Ability to perform reaching and stooping motions
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a busser in a restaurant or similar setting is preferred but not required
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift moderately heavy objects
- Positive attitude and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service
- Availability to work evenings weekends and holidays as needed
Job Duties
- Clear and reset tables efficiently ensuring they are clean and properly set for the next guests
- Remove used dishes glassware and utensils promptly
- Collaborate with servers to provide exceptional service to guests
- Support servers by delivering beverages refilling water glasses and delivering food orders as needed
- Continuously monitor the dining area for cleanliness
- Wipe down and sanitize tables chairs and other surfaces to maintain a hygienic environment
- Keep service stations stocked with clean glassware utensils napkins and other necessary supplies
- Inform the kitchen and bar staff when additional supplies are needed
- Assist guests by answering questions providing directions and accommodating special requests when possible
- Safely transport used dishes and equipment to the dishwashing area using designated bussing carts
- Help maintain the cleanliness of the dishwashing area
- Collaborate with fellow bussers servers and kitchen staff to create a positive and efficient work environment
- Be willing to assist in other areas of the establishment as needed
