With close to 2,300 locations globally, Panda is widely recognized for delivering exceptional Asian dining experiences in a fast-casual environment. The organization emphasizes a mission to inspire its employees to better their lives while providing guests with high-quality, enjoyable dining encounters.
At Panda, the culture is built on five fundamental values: Proactive, Respect/Win-Win, Growth, Great Operations, and Giving. This reflects the company's commitment to fostering a positive work environment where employees feel valued and supported in their career progression. As a family-owned and operated establishment, Panda restaurant group places a strong focus on investing in its people, believing that great people run great operations that exceed guest expectations. Panda offers competitive pay, flexible schedules, and extensive benefit packages to its employees, including medical, dental, vision coverage, 401K plans with company matches, and paid time off programs. Career paths range from entry-level roles to leadership and management positions, providing substantial opportunities for professional development and growth.
The busser role at Panda is vital in maintaining smooth and efficient dining room operations by assisting servers in delivering exceptional guest service. Bussers are responsible for clearing and resetting tables, preparing and serving ice water and hot tea, restocking essential dining supplies, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area and restrooms. Their efforts directly influence the guests' dining experiences by ensuring that the environment is welcoming, orderly, and well-stocked. The position requires attention to detail, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to work quickly and efficiently, often standing for long periods, while adhering to safety standards and company procedures.
This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about customer service. Panda provides hands-on paid training, on-going career and leadership development, and the chance to advance into management roles. The pay range for this position is between $18.04 to $21.04 per hour, depending on location and experience. The role involves physical activities such as lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for long durations, and operating kitchen tools and equipment safely. The company is heavily invested in workplace inclusivity and is an equal opportunity employer that adheres strictly to ADA regulations, ensuring reasonable accommodations for qualified individuals throughout the application and employment processes. This role provides an excellent platform to build a rewarding career within a dynamic and supportive organization dedicated to its community and values.
