At Over Easy, we are currently looking to hire enthusiastic Bussers who are passionate about creating a clean and welcoming environment for every guest. As a Busser, you will play a crucial role in our service team by ensuring that tables are cleared, dining areas are spotless, and all guests have a smooth and comfortable experience throughout their visit. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys teamwork, thrives in a fast-paced restaurant setting, and takes pride in maintaining cleanliness and order. You will assist servers with food delivery during busy periods and keep the dining area and restrooms clean and organized. Our Bussers are essential to the overall positive experience and success of our restaurant. This position is non-exempt and eligible for overtime pay. In addition, it participates in a tip pool consistent with company policies and legal guidelines. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • authorized to work in the U.S.
  • maintain a valid food handlers' certification
  • able to stand, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds frequently
  • able to communicate clearly with teammates and management
  • able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • willing to assist wherever needed

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment preferred but not required
  • must maintain a valid food handlers' certification
  • strong teamwork and communication skills
  • able to stand, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds frequently
  • efficient and detail-oriented with a focus on cleanliness and organization
  • comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • positive attitude and willingness to assist wherever needed
  • must be at least 16 years of age and authorized to work in the U.S.

Job Duties

  • Remove plates/glassware that guests no longer need
  • take tableware to dish area and place silverware, dishes, glassware, etc. in appropriate areas for washing
  • assist dishwasher by removing remaining food into appropriate waste bin and maintaining a clean dishwashing station
  • clean and clear tables between seatings, promptly clean table tops, chairs and booths, check floor and clean as required
  • inspect assigned restroom every 30 minutes and clean as needed
  • assist server as needed with food delivery, especially with large parties and during peak periods
