Job Description
First Watch is a leading daytime dining restaurant brand dedicated to serving made-to-order breakfast, brunch, and lunch using the freshest and highest-quality ingredients. With over 630 locations across 32 states, First Watch has earned a strong reputation for its chef-driven menu that rotates multiple times per year to showcase peak flavors, including elevated takes on classic favorites and innovative dishes. Renowned for dishes such as their Lemon Ricotta Pancakes, Quinoa Power Bowl, and signature Million Dollar Bacon, First Watch continually delights customers with fresh and flavorful items. The company is highly recognized in the industry, having received multiple awards, including being voted #1 Best Breakfast by Newsweek's Readers' Choice Awards in 2025 and named the #1 Most Loved Workplace in America by the Best Practice Institute for consecutive years. Through its commitment to quality, hospitality, and community impact, First Watch has raised approximately $2 million through donations linked to kids' meals supporting local organizations.
First Watch’s YOU FIRST Philosophy places employees at the center of their culture by prioritizing their happiness and empowering them with the independence to make decisions that create exceptional dining experiences. Employees benefit from no night shifts, a fully chef-curated menu, and a work environment that truly values their contributions. First Watch takes pride in offering comprehensive benefits to its staff, all designed to support their health, wellness, and professional growth.
The Busser position at First Watch is a vital role that ensures a clean, welcoming dining environment by efficiently clearing, sanitizing, and resetting tables to maintain a smooth and seamless customer experience. Bussers operate with speed and precision, typically resetting tables within three minutes, and act as crucial communicators between the front-of-house team members by signaling table readiness to hosts and servers. This role requires excellent teamwork, attention to detail, and a drive to support both the team and guests. The position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and contributing to the overall guest satisfaction without night shifts, making it a balanced role for many looking for day shifts.
First Watch is an equal opportunity employer that values diversity and inclusion, complying with the Americans with Disabilities Act by offering reasonable accommodations for qualified individuals. They encourage open dialogue around accommodations during hiring and employment.
If you are looking for an opportunity to be part of a passionate team that puts employees first, offers meaningful career growth, and delivers unparalleled daytime dining experiences, First Watch is the place for you. Join the First Watch family and be part of a community that truly loves its employees more than bacon and takes pride in serving its guests with care, quality, and enthusiasm.
