Currently hiring for an hourly Busser role at TradeWinds Resort, this position is critical to maintaining smooth operations and excellent service within the resort's dining facilities. The Busser's main responsibility is to greet guests promptly, clear dirty dishes efficiently, and ensure all guest needs are anticipated and met with a keen eye for detail and cleanliness. This role requires the physical stamina to walk and stand for long periods, perform safe lifting procedures, and work amidst Florida's warm climate. The Busser also adheres strictly to health and safety regulations, helping maintain the resort’s impeccable standards.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods
  • Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs safely
  • Willingness to work in a hot climate
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Strong communication and guest service skills

Job Qualifications

  • Food service experience in a resort is preferred
  • Must be able to walk and stand for 8 hours or more
  • Safely lift, carry and provide service from trays weighing up to 25 lbs
  • Safely lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs
  • Work in Florida's hot climate for 8 hours or more
  • Must have open availability, including evenings, weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Prepare dining areas before guests are seated
  • Decorate tables following proper outlet protocol for guests arrival
  • Place tableware and condiments on tables
  • Remove dirty utensils and replenish, as needed
  • Clean and reset tables after guests leave
  • Maintain health and safety regulations at all kitchen and dining areas
  • Assume other duties and responsibilities as assigned
