Job Description

Each restaurant location offers an elevated yet inviting cultural dining experience designed to cater to guests on any occasion, be it casual dining or special celebrations.

As a Busser at Din Tai Fung, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and welcoming dining environment that ensures a smooth flow of service. This part-time position is based at the SeaTac Pacific Place location at 600 Pine Street, Seattle, WA 98101. The pay rate is competitive at $21.30 per hour plus estimated tips ranging from $10.75 to $11.50 per hour, reflecting the value placed on delivering excellent service.

Your primary duty as a Busser is to support the servers and kitchen staff by rapidly clearing tables and removing used dishes, utensils, and glassware. You will reset tables efficiently by wiping surfaces, cleaning chairs, and tidying the floor area around tables, ensuring each seating area is fresh and prepared for the next guests. Your role requires a fast pace and professional demeanor to keep the restaurant operating smoothly during peak periods.

You will work closely with the servers and the entire front-of-house team to maintain a steady rhythm of service that contributes to an exceptional dining experience. Attention to detail, a positive attitude, and the ability to work as part of a team are essential to succeeding in this role. In addition to cleaning duties, you may assist with other guest services as assigned by your supervisor, ensuring Din Tai Fung’s high standards of hospitality and cleanliness are always met.
