The Radisson Hotel Salt Lake City Downtown, a managed property within Choice Hotels International’s portfolio, is centrally located within walking distance of downtown attractions and events. This dynamic hotel environment is seeking an energetic individual to join its Food & Beverage team as a Busser Attendant. This full-time position offers competitive pay, a generous vacation package, eight paid holidays, and an excellent benefits package.

In the role of Busser/Attendant/Server Assistant, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and welcoming dining environment by bussing tables efficiently, courteously, and accurately. The position involves engaging with guests by promptly greeting them, assisting servers during busy periods, and ensuring the dining areas meet the high standards expected of the Radisson brand. The candidate will help uphold the hotel’s reputation for genuine hospitality by exceeding guest expectations through attentiveness and teamwork.

The responsibilities include obtaining service area assignments, clearing and resetting tables, assisting with food delivery during peak hours, and cooperating with servers and hosts for optimal table utilization and guest service. The busser attendant is also expected to assist with dishwashing when necessary and must comply with legal standards and TIPS alcohol training guidelines to ensure responsible alcohol service. This role demands excellent communication skills, a strong team spirit, the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, and the physical ability to work under varying conditions with tasks such as lifting, standing for extended periods, and maintaining manual dexterity.

Job Duties

  • Obtain service area assignments at the beginning of each shift
  • promptly greet guests as they are seated and bring water to table
  • remove used tableware between courses and provide tableware for next course
  • clear tables after guests and place tableware in appropriate areas for washing
  • promptly clean table tops, chairs and booths between seating
  • respond appropriately to guest requests and communicate requests to server as needed
  • assist server with food delivery during peak periods and large parties
