Primary responsibilities include clearing, cleaning, and sanitizing tables and dining rooms, maintaining the dish machine area and operating it according to specifications, restocking necessary items such as dishes and utensils, as well as handling waste and linen removal efficiently. The role ensures that dining areas, storage spaces, and even parking lots remain clean and orderly, reflecting the restaurant’s dedication to a clean, safe, and pleasant environment. The position requires standing and working in confined areas for extended periods and involves some physical demands, including lifting and carrying heavy items and exposure to varying environmental conditions. Communicating clearly in English and working flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, are also essential. Job Requirements

  • This position will spend 100% of the time standing and working in congested areas
  • occasional environmental exposures to cold, heat, and water
  • must be able to withstand continuous walking, standing, bending and climbing stairs
  • must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds when needed
  • must be able to life, carry, push and/or pull up to 35 pounds regularly
  • smoking is not permitted on the premises
  • required to work flexible shifts and schedules, including weekends and some holidays
  • required to purchase appropriate uniform upon hiring

Job Qualifications

  • Comprehensive understanding of the English language
  • ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and managers
  • knowledge of basic sanitary guidelines
  • knowledge of basic dish machine operations

Job Duties

  • Properly clear, clean and sanitize all tables and dining room areas
  • maintain cleanliness of the dining room
  • maintain a clean and organized dish machine area
  • operate dish machines to company and manufacturer specifications
  • use proper measurements of detergent and sanitizer in the dish machine
  • restock all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans
  • remove all garbage and linen
  • keep storage areas and parking lot clean and organized
  • perform additional responsibilities as requested by the management team at any time
