Quail Springs Culinary (QSC), established in 2018 and headquartered in Oklahoma City, is a dynamic restaurant company operating across 9 states with 78 locations, including both company-owned and franchised outlets. The Busser position at QSC plays a critical role in sustaining the cleanliness and functionality of the dining environment to enhance guests' dining experience. In this full-time role, the Busser supports waitstaff by quickly clearing and resetting tables between customers, restocking supplies, and assisting with overall dining room upkeep during service hours. By facilitating rapid table turnover and ensuring an impeccably clean and inviting dining area, the Busser directly contributes to guest satisfaction and operational efficiency. The role demands attention to detail and a proactive disposition to anticipate the needs of guests and team members alike. The Busser not only helps maintain hygiene standards but also fosters a welcoming atmosphere, supporting the company’s overarching goal of hospitality excellence. Job Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts
- basic communication skills to interact effectively with team members and guests
- willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- physical ability to lift and carry trays, dishes, and other items up to 25 pounds
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in a food service or hospitality environment is preferred but not required
- experience working in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting
- knowledge of proper food safety and sanitation practices
- ability to multitask and prioritize duties during busy service times
- strong teamwork and interpersonal skills to support a collaborative work environment
- basic understanding of restaurant operations and guest service standards
Job Duties
- Clear and clean tables promptly after guests have finished dining to prepare for the next seating
- reset tables with clean linens, silverware, glassware, and condiments according to restaurant standards
- assist servers by refilling water glasses, delivering bread or other items, and responding to guest requests as needed
- maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including sweeping floors, wiping down surfaces, and disposing of trash appropriately
- collaborate with kitchen and waitstaff to ensure smooth communication and efficient service flow during busy periods
