Job Description

Cracker Barrel has been a beloved American dining and retail establishment since its founding in 1969. Known for its warm hospitality, delicious comfort food, and a nostalgic atmosphere filled with unique country store items, Cracker Barrel is more than just a restaurant - it's a place where people gather to share moments and create lasting memories. With over 70,000 team members nationwide, the company prides itself on its deep-rooted values of community, respect, and team spirit. At Cracker Barrel, employees are not just workers; they are part of a family that supports one another and welcomes guests with genuine care and attention.

As a Busser at Cracker Barrel, you play a crucial role in shaping the guest experience from the moment they enter the dining room. Your responsibility goes beyond simply clearing tables; you help set the tone for an unforgettable hospitality experience. By ensuring that tables are clean, comfortable, and ready for the next group, you help create an inviting and pleasant environment that encourages guests to relax and enjoy their meals. Working closely with the dining room team, you ensure the smooth flow of service, contributing to the overall positive impression that guests take away from their visit.

No prior restaurant experience is required to succeed in this role, as Cracker Barrel is dedicated to training and supporting new team members from day one. Through their industry-leading PAR training program, you will receive the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in the position. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in helping others, enjoy working in a team setting, and move purposefully to make every dining experience better. Furthermore, employment comes with competitive pay, access to health benefits starting on day one for both full-time and part-time employees, paid vacation time, and a robust employee assistance program.

Cracker Barrel also fosters a culture of growth and development, offering opportunities to advance your career through continuous learning and development programs. The company supports long-term financial security with a 401k plan that includes company matching contributions after 90 days and an employee stock purchase program. Additionally, team members enjoy various recognition programs, employee events, and exclusive perks such as a 35% discount on Cracker Barrel food and retail items, as well as special discounts on home, travel, cell phones, and more.

Joining Cracker Barrel means becoming part of a culture that values teamwork, respect, and a sincere desire to provide excellent service. If you are someone who sees the value in small but meaningful acts that contribute to guest satisfaction, who enjoys staying organized and helping others, and who embraces a team-first mindset, Cracker Barrel invites you to apply and start a rewarding career in a company that feels like home.
