The Busser role at Ottava Via is essential in supporting the restaurant's front-of-house operations. As a Busser, you play a crucial part in enhancing the guest experience by ensuring the dining environment is clean, organized, and inviting at all times. Your responsibilities involve promptly clearing and resetting tables, assisting servers with food and beverage delivery, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining and common areas. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $15.00 to $20.00, along with tips that supplement your income. Ottava Via also provides comprehensive on-the-job training to familiarize new Bussers with the restaurant's procedures, standards, and safety policies. You will be expected to work an 8-hour shift with a schedule that includes weekends, holidays, day and night shifts, and potential overtime. Job Duties

  • Clear tables promptly after guests depart, removing all used dishes, glassware, and utensils
  • Reset tables quickly and efficiently with fresh linens, utensils, and glassware
  • Ensure tables are set for new guests in a timely manner, maintaining an inviting atmosphere
  • Support servers by delivering food and beverages to tables as needed, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Assist guests with any immediate requests or needs, providing excellent customer service and creating a positive dining experience
  • Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including regular sweeping, mopping, and wiping down surfaces
  • Ensure restrooms and other common areas are clean, stocked, and well-maintained throughout your shift
