Job Requirements

No education required
Prior experience in food service or hospitality is beneficial but not mandatory
Ability to communicate effectively with guests, waitstaff, and kitchen staff
Capability to manage multiple tasks like clearing and resetting tables while assisting in other duties
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry heavy items
Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, day and night shifts, and overtime
Adherence to health and safety regulations and restaurant policies

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Effective verbal communication skills
Strong customer service skills with a focus on providing a warm and welcoming dining experience
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Attention to detail to ensure tables are set correctly and the dining area is maintained
Capability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry heavy items, and perform physical tasks efficiently
Positive attitude and strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and ensure timely service and a clean environment

Job Duties

Clear tables promptly after guests depart, removing all used dishes, glassware, and utensils
Reset tables quickly and efficiently with fresh linens, utensils, and glassware
Ensure tables are set for new guests in a timely manner, maintaining an inviting atmosphere
Support servers by delivering food and beverages to tables as needed, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Assist guests with any immediate requests or needs, providing excellent customer service and creating a positive dining experience
Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including regular sweeping, mopping, and wiping down surfaces
Ensure restrooms and other common areas are clean, stocked, and well-maintained throughout your shift
