The Busser role at Anthony's is critical in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dining area, which directly impacts the overall dining experience for customers. As a Busser, you will assume the responsibility of promptly clearing and resetting tables, assisting servers with beverage refills, and supporting the flow of service during busy periods. This position requires collaboration with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff to deliver smooth and timely service. Additionally, the Busser plays a key role in upholding Anthony's high standards of hospitality through attentiveness to maintaining a tidy dining environment that is always prepared for incoming guests. Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts
  • Basic understanding of restaurant hygiene and safety standards

Job Duties

  • Clear and clean tables promptly after guests have finished dining to prepare for the next seating
  • Reset tables with clean linens, silverware, glassware, and condiments according to restaurant standards
  • Assist servers by refilling water glasses, delivering bread or other items, and responding to guest requests as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including sweeping floors, wiping down surfaces, and emptying trash receptacles
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service flow and communicate any issues or special guest needs to management
