Job Description

Dinosaur Bar-B-Que began its journey in 1983 as a mobile concession unit, serving exceptional Bar-B-Que throughout the Northeast. Since opening its first restaurant in Syracuse in 1988, the company has grown steadily and now operates six locations across New York State. Dinosaur Bar-B-Que is currently seeking a Busser to join its Rochester team. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and are passionate about delivering excellent customer service. The Busser plays a vital part in upholding the "Guest First" service philosophy, ensuring guests feel welcome and comfortable throughout their visit. By efficiently clearing and resetting tables, maintaining clean and organized dining and service areas, and supporting the overall flow of the restaurant, the Busser contributes significantly to a smooth and enjoyable dining experience for all patrons. This position offers competitive pay starting at $16.00 per hour plus tips and provides opportunities for advancement within a fun and engaging workplace. Employees may also become eligible for full medical, dental, and vision insurance, accrue paid time off and sick hours, and participate in the 401(k) plan after one year of service. Job Requirements

  • 6 mos. to 2 years related experience required
  • Must have a working knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions
  • Must be able to speak and follow written and verbal communications
  • Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Job Duties

  • Provide guest first service and make guests feel welcome at all times
  • Bus tables in the dining room as guests depart
  • Maintain cleanliness of side stations, restrooms, dining room, and wait area
  • Carry full bus tubs to dishwasher and unload in an organized manner
  • Support dining room and service procedures
  • Assist team members to ensure a smooth flow of service
  • Uphold restaurant standards for cleanliness and guest satisfaction
