Job Description
Goode Company Restaurants is a well-established restaurant group known for delivering an authentic Texas dining experience through its commitment to quality, hospitality, and exceptional service. Founded with the goal of serving outstanding food inspired by Texas traditions, Goode Company Restaurants has grown into a respected name in the hospitality industry. The company prides itself on maintaining high standards in every aspect of its operation, from ingredient sourcing and food preparation to guest interaction and dining atmosphere. Embracing a culture centered around teamwork, respect, and professionalism, Goode Company Restaurants believes that the way employees work and engage with guests directly reflects the company’s values and reputation.
The Busser role at Goode Company Restaurants is an integral position focused on enhancing the guest's dining experience by ensuring the dining environment is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times. As a Busser, you will be the backbone behind the smooth operation of the dining room, working diligently to reset tables quickly and efficiently to allow prompt seating for new guests. Your responsibilities include clearing used dishes, glassware, and silverware immediately after guests finish their meals and preparing tables by restocking necessary items, contributing to the overall efficiency of the restaurant team.
This position requires a friendly, hardworking individual who understands that their work, though often behind the scenes, significantly impacts the guest experience. You must have a keen eye for detail in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation levels expected at Goode Company Restaurants, as these standards not only reflect your professionalism but also contribute to the health and safety of both guests and staff. The ideal candidate exhibits traits like creativity, eagerness, and an ability to work well under pressure, along with excellent time management and hospitality skills.
At Goode Company Restaurants, bussers are more than just clearing tables; they are an essential link in delivering courteous and timely service to patrons. You will collaborate closely with servers and other service staff to ensure that non-alcoholic beverage needs are met promptly, supporting the team in providing an exceptional dining experience. Politeness and a friendly demeanor towards guests and co-workers are essential, along with following strict safety and sanitation policies.
Aside from a commitment to quality service, Goode Company Restaurants seeks candidates who demonstrate professional behavior, dress, and speech, embodying the company’s values with every interaction. While previous experience is preferred, the company values a strong work ethic and willingness to learn just as highly. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, be fluent in English both spoken and written, and hold a valid Food Handler Certification.
This position offers a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic team in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment where your work directly impacts the brand’s reputation and the guest experience. Additionally, Goode Company Restaurants provides competitive benefits including medical membership with preventive and diagnostic coverage for part-time employees, access to wellness resources, food discounts, and weekly payroll. Full medical benefits become available after 12 months of consistent full-time hours, illustrating the company’s investment in the long-term health and well-being of its staff.
If you are passionate about serving others, thrive in a team-oriented setting, and take pride in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hospitality, a Busser role at Goode Company Restaurants could be the perfect fit. Join a company that values dedication, professionalism, and authentic Texas spirit as much as you do, and help create memorable dining experiences one plate at a time.
