Job Description

We are a franchise group operating nine Ruth's Chris Steak House locations across North Carolina, Maryland, and New Jersey. Ruth's Chris Steak House is renowned for its fine dining experiences, specializing in premium steaks and exceptional hospitality. Our franchise is committed to delivering outstanding service and a memorable dining experience to all our guests. With a well-established reputation for quality and excellence, we attract guests who appreciate superior food, attentive service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We believe in fostering a positive work environment where team members can grow professionally while contributing to delivering the best guest experience possible.

Currently, we are seeking dedicated Front of House (FOH) team members to join our vibrant team. This role involves working full-time or part-time, depending on your availability, and requires flexibility, including nights, weekends, and holiday shifts. FOH team members play an essential role in the guest experience, acting as the face of our restaurant as they engage with guests, ensure timely service, and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hospitality.

Employees in FOH positions are expected to arrive on time, in the proper uniform, and demonstrate excellent personal hygiene and cleanliness throughout their shifts. Each shift begins with the assignment of stations, where team members perform opening duties and support each other by practicing teamwork to create a seamless dining environment. Communicating effectively with fellow team members and management is crucial, especially when addressing any guest concerns, to uphold Ruth's Chris Steak House's reputation for superior service.

The role requires a commitment to our service standards as detailed in our RCSH Employee Training Packet. FOH team members are responsible for setting up and restocking service stations, serving guests promptly with water, bread, and beverages, removing and resetting tables efficiently, and following all operational guidelines closely. This hands-on position demands attention to detail, a friendly attitude, and a proactive approach to delivering plus one service — going beyond basic expectations to delight our guests.

Whether you are starting your career in the hospitality industry or bringing previous experience, working with our team offers an opportunity to develop strong customer service skills and be part of a respected franchise group. We value enthusiasm, dedication, and the desire to contribute positively to the dining experience of our guests. If you are passionate about hospitality and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, this position at Ruth's Chris Steak House is an excellent fit for you.
