Job Requirements

ability to lift, carry or move up to 30 lbs
able to work in hot and cold environments
ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours per shift
frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, squatting, and stooping
manual dexterity to handle glassware, utensils and technology systems
ability to move quickly in a fast-paced environment
visual ability including distance, close, color, depth and peripheral

Responsible Beverage Service Certification required for California positions

Job Qualifications

high school diploma or equivalent preferred
previous restaurant or food service experience a plus but not required
knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
strong communication and interpersonal skills
ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
ability to follow instructions and company policies
ability to obtain Responsible Beverage Service Certification (for California locations)
basic knowledge of food and beverage menus

Job Duties

bus, clean, and properly reset tables
address cleanliness or service needs in public areas
provide general knowledge of food and drink menu and recommend and upsell products
answer phones promptly and professionally and direct calls
support all areas of the restaurant as business needs arise
ensure compliance with safe food handling, cleanliness, sanitation, and safety procedures
deliver outstanding team-based guest service
