Job Description
Cracker Barrel is a renowned American restaurant and gift shop chain that has been a beloved destination since 1969. With a rich heritage rooted in Southern hospitality and comfort food, Cracker Barrel offers guests a unique dining and shopping experience that combines traditional flavors with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The company prides itself on being more than just a place to eat; it is a gathering spot where family and friends reconnect over delicious meals, and customers find unexpected treasures in its retail shops. Employing over 70,000 team members across the nation, Cracker Barrel is committed to creating an inclusive, supportive work environment where every employee can thrive and feel valued.
The role of a Busser at Cracker Barrel is vital to ensuring that guests enjoy an exceptional dining experience right from the moment they step into the restaurant. Bussers are responsible for maintaining clean, comfortable, and inviting tables, setting the stage for memorable meals. This position is more than just clearing and resetting tables; it’s about contributing to the smooth flow of service and supporting the entire dining room team to deliver hospitality that guests remember. Busser team members embody a team-first mindset, move with purpose, and take pride in their work, always looking for ways to assist fellow colleagues and improve the guest experience.
At Cracker Barrel, no prior restaurant experience is necessary to succeed as a Busser because comprehensive training, including the industry-leading PAR training program, is provided starting on day one. This role offers an excellent opportunity to join a company with a culture of belonging, support, and growth, where employees are encouraged to develop their skills and grow their careers. Alongside competitive pay, same-day pay access, and employee benefits, the Busser position offers a work environment that values teamwork, dedication, and hospitality. Those who join Cracker Barrel find themselves part of a company that truly cares about both its guests and employees, making it an ideal workplace for individuals looking to build meaningful connections and advance within the restaurant industry.
