Job Requirements

  • Ability to lift, carry or move up to 30 lbs
  • able to work in hot and cold environments
  • ability to walk and stand for extended periods, up to 8 hours per shift
  • frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, squatting and stooping
  • manual dexterity to handle glassware, utensils and technology systems
  • ability to move quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • visual ability including distance, close, color, depth and peripheral vision
  • ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Responsible Beverage Service Certifications required for California positions, can be completed during training or within 60 days after start date

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior restaurant or food service experience is a plus but not required
  • customer service skills
  • ability to communicate effectively
  • teamwork skills

Job Duties

  • Bussing, cleaning, and properly resetting tables
  • addressing cleanliness or service needs in public areas
  • having general knowledge of food and drink menu and recommending and upselling products
  • answering phones promptly and professionally
  • demonstrating teamwork by supporting all areas of the restaurant
  • committing to safe food handling, cleanliness, sanitation standards, and safety procedures during the shift
