Job Requirements
- Ability to lift, carry or move up to 30 lbs
- able to work in hot and cold environments
- ability to walk and stand for extended periods up to 8 hours per shift
- frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, squatting and stooping
- manual dexterity to handle glassware, utensils and technology systems
- ability to move quickly in a fast-paced environment
- visual ability including distance, close, color, depth and peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus
- ability to perform essential functions with or without accommodation
- responsible beverage service certification required for California positions (training available)
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous restaurant or customer service experience beneficial
- basic knowledge of food and beverage service
- excellent communication and teamwork skills
- ability to provide courteous and professional service
- responsible beverage service certification (for California positions) required or to be obtained within 60 days
Job Duties
- Bussing, cleaning, and properly resetting tables
- addressing cleanliness or service needs in public areas
- having a general knowledge of the food and drink menu and recommending and upselling products
- answering phones promptly and directing calls as applicable
- supporting all restaurant areas as business needs arise
- committing to safe food handling, cleanliness, sanitation standards and safety procedures during shifts
