Known for its warm, welcoming environment and rich Southern heritage, Cracker Barrel offers guests more than just a meal—it provides a place where families and friends can gather, reconnect, and feel at home. With over 70,000 team members nationwide, Cracker Barrel prides itself on fostering a culture where every team member contributes to creating memorable moments for guests. The company's commitment to quality food, excellent service, and a unique shopping experience makes it a beloved brand across the country.
The role of Busser at Cracker Barrel plays a vital part in maintaining the high standards of hospitality the company is known for. As a Busser, you are not just clearing tables; you are setting the stage for every guest’s dining experience. You help ensure that every table is clean, comfortable, and ready to welcome new guests, which helps the entire dining room function smoothly. This role requires someone who is proactive, attentive to detail, and possesses a team-first mentality. Working closely with servers and other dining room staff, Bussers contribute to creating a seamless and enjoyable atmosphere that leaves a lasting impression.
At Cracker Barrel, no prior restaurant experience is needed to start as a Busser because comprehensive training is provided. The company believes in fostering growth and development, offering industry-leading training programs that begin on day one. The position offers competitive weekly pay with options for same-day pay access, making it an attractive opportunity for individuals seeking stability and support. Full and part-time employees are eligible for health insurance benefits from the first day, emphasizing the company’s commitment to the well-being of its team members.
In addition to competitive pay and benefits, working as a Busser at Cracker Barrel means joining a culture that values belonging, support, and recognition. The company offers vacation time, an employee assistance program, and a 401(k) plan with company matching contributions after 90 days. There is even an Employee Stock Purchase Program that allows team members to have a stake in the company’s success. Beyond the workplace, employees enjoy a 35 percent discount on Cracker Barrel food and retail items plus various exclusive discounts on home goods, travel, cell phones, and more.
Cracker Barrel is proud of its deep roots and strives to create more than just a place to work. It is dedicated to cultivating an environment where all employees feel supported, valued, and empowered to succeed. If you are someone who takes pride in making things better for others, enjoys working in a fast-paced team environment, and wants to be part of a company known for its strong culture and growth opportunities, then a Busser position at Cracker Barrel may be the perfect fit. Join a company where your work matters and where you can truly make the moment for every guest who walks through the door.
