Job Duties

  • Clearing tables of used dishes, glassware, and utensils promptly and efficiently
  • Cleaning and sanitizing tables, chairs, and surrounding areas to prepare for the next guest
  • Refilling paper towels and condiments according to restaurant standards
  • Collecting and sorting used dishes, glassware, and silverware and placing them in designated areas
  • Assisting the dishwasher to maintain a steady flow of cleaned dishes
  • Assisting customers with seating, providing menus, answering basic questions, and directing them as needed
  • Monitoring and refilling water glasses and other beverages upon customer requests
  • Supporting food runners by delivering food items, condiments, and supplies
  • Assisting with general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and emptying trash bins
  • Ensuring dining area and restrooms are clean, organized, and visually appealing
  • Collaborating effectively with restaurant staff to ensure seamless service
  • Adhering to health and safety regulations and reporting any hazards or maintenance issues
