This opportunity is with the Radisson Hotel Salt Lake City Downtown, a vibrant establishment situated within walking distance to many downtown attractions and events. This hotel is part of Choice Hotels’ managed portfolio including notable brands such as Radisson Blu, Radisson, Radisson Red, Park Plaza, and Country Inn & Suites by Radisson. The role available is for a Busser/Attendant/Server Assistant within the Food & Beverage team. This position plays a critical part in ensuring guests enjoy a pristine dining environment by efficiently bussing tables and supporting the servers in an attentive and courteous manner. The work environment is fast-paced and exciting, with varied daily activities preventing any day from feeling repetitive. The Busser/Attendant is responsible for creating 100% guest satisfaction by delivering the Radisson experience through genuine hospitality and exceeding guest expectations. The role entails greeting guests promptly, assisting with food and beverage service, maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of dining areas, and collaborating closely with servers and hosts to ensure smooth operation. Attention to detail, effective communication, and a team-spirited attitude are essential. This position often requires physical demands such as standing for long periods, lifting, and working in variable temperature conditions. Job Duties

  • Obtain service area assignments at the beginning of each shift
  • Promptly greet guests as they are seated and bring water to the table
  • Remove used tableware between courses and provide tableware for the next course
  • Clear tables after guests and return tableware to dish room properly
  • Clean table tops, chairs and booths between seating
  • Respond appropriately to guest requests and communicate to server as needed
  • Assist server with food delivery especially during large parties and peak periods
