The role of Busser at The Cheesecake Factory plays a pivotal part in maintaining the excellent standards of dining that guests expect. As a key member of a high-volume, full-service restaurant team, the Busser is responsible for ensuring that dining rooms remain spotless, organized, and fully prepared to provide a seamless guest experience. This role demands speed, efficiency, and a keen attention to detail to clear and reset tables promptly for the next wave of guests. Bussers support servers, bartenders, and hosts by pre-bussing tables, assisting with beverage refills, and responding to guest requests to enhance the overall service quality. Additionally, they take care of dining area maintenance such as sweeping and mopping floors, as well as station setup and breakdown activities, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation across the restaurant. Job Qualifications

  • Previous restaurant, hospitality, or food service industry experience preferred
  • Familiarity with bussing, bar backing, food running, hosting or server assistant duties is a plus

Job Duties

  • Clear tables quickly with attention to detail, removing dishes, glassware, and cutlery
  • Reset tables with clean silverware and plateware, maintaining consistent presentation
  • Provide friendly, attentive service that creates a welcoming experience for every guest
  • Demonstrate strong teamwork by supporting servers and bartenders with pre-bussing, refilling beverages, and guest requests
  • Perform dining area maintenance, including cleaning floors, sweeping and mopping as needed
  • Complete station setup and breakdown, stocking duties, and closing tasks, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation
  • Sort and pre-sort dishware and utensils to support efficient operations
  • Follow instructions with accuracy and ownership
  • Work efficiently with speed and consistency in a fast-paced environment
  • Communicate clearly and accurately with the front-of-house team to support a positive guest experience
