Job Description
Glenmoor Country Club is a prestigious private club known for its exceptional dining experiences, exquisite golf courses, and a rich tradition of hospitality. Located in a scenic environment, Glenmoor Country Club offers its members a luxurious and welcoming atmosphere where attention to detail and guest satisfaction are paramount. As a well-established institution in the hospitality industry, Glenmoor prides itself on delivering impeccable service across all its departments, particularly in food and beverage services, where maintaining a high standard is key to the club’s reputation and member enjoyment.
The Food & Beverage department at Glenmoor Country Club is dedicated to providing an outstanding dining experience by combining high-quality cuisine with attentive and efficient service. The department values teamwork, professionalism, and a commitment to excellence to ensure all dining events — from casual meals to formal receptions — are executed flawlessly. Employees play a crucial role in creating a memorable atmosphere where members feel valued and cared for.
The Busser position is an essential support role within the food and beverage team, responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dining environment throughout service hours. This role is seasonal and offered as an hourly position with a competitive wage of $18.00 per hour. The busser also reports directly to the Food & Beverage Managers and works closely with servers and other dining staff to ensure smooth service flow and uphold the club’s high standards.
As a Busser at Glenmoor Country Club, you will be the backbone of the dining room operations by promptly setting and resetting tables, clearing used dishes and glassware during and after meals, and ensuring all service stations remain fully stocked and orderly. Your support with water service and delivering small service items such as bread and butter will enhance members’ dining comfort and satisfaction. Additionally, you will assist with buffet setups and special event arrangements, helping to create a seamless experience for guests during various club functions.
The role demands physical stamina, including the ability to stand and walk for long periods, lift trays and supplies up to 25 pounds, and work in varied weather conditions, both indoors and outdoors. Being detail-oriented and reliable are essential traits to succeed in this fast-paced and dynamic environment. Effective communication and a friendly attitude will help you connect with both team members and club members, fostering a positive and efficient atmosphere. You will also be expected to adhere strictly to food safety, sanitation, and quality standards as set by the club and regulatory guidelines.
In this position, teamwork is essential; you will attend pre-shift meetings to stay informed about service standards and daily expectations. Your responsiveness to requests and ability to handle side work tasks will contribute significantly to the overall success of the food and beverage operations. Glenmoor Country Club is dedicated to supporting its employees by providing a professional, respectful workplace where your contributions help sustain the club’s reputation as a premier social and recreational destination.
Joining Glenmoor Country Club as a seasonal Busser offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable hospitality experience in a renowned private club setting. It is ideal for motivated individuals looking to develop their skills in food and beverage service while working in a supportive team-oriented environment that values attentiveness, efficiency, and high service quality.
