Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • US work authorization required
  • Reliable transportation required
  • No prior restaurant experience required
  • Must obtain California Food Handler Certificate within 30 days of hire with training provided
  • Ability to stand constantly walk constantly bend frequently use hands frequently lift and carry 11-20 lbs constantly and occasionally lift 21-50 lbs
  • Must be dependable and follow attendance and scheduling policies
  • Ability to work safely and report safety concerns or injuries
  • Must follow food safety program guidelines and hygiene standards
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment such as non-slip shoes and back belts

Job Duties

  • Assist in preparing restaurant for dining service by setting up section including polishing and preparing linens silverware and glassware
  • Greet all guests and co-workers in a warm friendly manner
  • Assist service team by removing dishes and glasses from tables or counters and take them to kitchen for cleaning
  • Prepare tables by clearing cleaning and resetting for next guests
  • Address guest requests or concerns and take corrective action
  • Stock service areas with supplies such as tableware and linens throughout the service period
  • Remove trash from receptacles and replace liners
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness in all duties performed
  • Follow food safety guidelines including handwashing hygiene and health practices
