Job Requirements

  • Previous experience as a busser preferred
  • must successfully complete restaurants training course
  • high school diploma
  • able to stand and walk for prolonged periods
  • able to lift up to 25 pounds

  • hospitality certification is a plus
  • strong customer service skills for interacting with restaurant guests
  • excellent communication and teamwork skills for conveying information to other staff members
  • knowledge of food production and service, including safe storage practices, handling methods, and laws and regulations
  • ability to tolerate stress and work in a fast-paced environment
  • physical strength for lifting and moving heavy objects and stamina for standing and walking for long hours
  • dexterity for dealing with objects that are fragile or otherwise need careful handling
  • critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • organizational skills and attention to detail

Job Duties

  • Removing tableware like dishes and utensils to keep tables from becoming too crowded
  • clearing tables of dirty utensils, napkins, and dishes and cleaning surfaces so that they're ready for the next guests
  • ensuring the availability of clean dishes, flatware, glasses, straws, and napkins for tables
  • helping the Dishwashers by sorting and organizing used tableware and readying it for washing
  • delivering food and helping with refills to aid Servers during peak restaurant times
  • cleaning any spills in the kitchen and dining areas
  • keeping the restrooms clean
  • other duties as assigned
