Job Qualifications
- Minimum 1-year full-service restaurant bus experience or equivalent preferred
- punctual and meet personal schedule requirements
- project a friendly, courteous and pleasant attitude
- able to get along well with co-workers
- maintain a clean, well-manicured appearance reflecting restaurant image
- able to safely transport containers weighing up to 30 lbs
- proficient in English to respond properly to questions and directions
- able to stand and/or walk for entire shift
- able to safely transport items on slick and uneven surfaces
- able to transport dishes, bus tubs and trays between dish washing area and tables
- accept constructive criticism
- flexible to work variable schedules including nights, weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area to ensure safety
- assist service team with food and beverage service
- perform team service as instructed by team leader or manager
- complete ice and water service as required
- complete bread and butter/oil service as required
- refill water glasses with ice and water
- refill bread and butter/oil
- keep tables free of dirty dishes, empty glassware, debris, and empty bottles
- crumb and/or wipe tables when appropriate
- maintain silverware service, replacing as needed
- remove used service dishes and utensils to bus tub or tray
- perform more than one task at a time
- complete all side work in a timely manner
- wrap leftover food to take home as requested
- remove all final items remaining on table in a single trip
- clean and reset table within one minute
- properly change CO2 and soda dispensers
- refrain from smoking during shift
- perform calmly and effectively under pressure
- communicate effectively with guests and co-workers
