Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or foreign equivalency
  • Minimum of one year previous restaurant experience in land-based or shipboard operation
  • Minimum of one year previous experience selling and serving wine and other beverage products

  • Ability to work 7 days a week

Job Duties

  • Turning over tables and promoting beverage service in the Buffet
  • Responsible for safeguarding all equipment and materials required for operation by adhering to proper handling procedures
  • Performing other related duties as assigned or directed
  • Familiarity and compliance with Safety and Environmental Protection Policy and SEMS
  • Escorting guests and resetting tables in Main Dining Rooms
  • Assisting Waiters with stocking, cleaning and maintaining waiter stations
  • Ensuring cleanliness of dining rooms according to cleaning schedules
  • Setting up Crew Mess with food and beverage products prior to service
  • Maintaining cleanliness and food line in Crew Mess
  • Cleaning and sanitizing beverage dispensing machines
  • Setting up assigned Buffet station with equipment prior to service
  • Cleaning tables in Buffet station throughout service
  • Complying with sequence of beverage service
  • Performing side work such as silverware roll-ups and trash emptying
  • Manning non-cooking buffet action stations such as carving and dessert stations
