Job Duties

  • Responds to sales inquiries
  • initiates new sales, prospects and qualifies leads
  • solicits potential clients
  • entertains clients
  • conducts site visits and answers questions
  • determines rates
  • prepares proposals
  • negotiates contracts
  • services accounts and analyzes lost business
  • develops sales plans and strategies to meet or exceed revenue and room night goals
  • works with various departments to ensure requested services are provided
  • applies strong sales skills to create customer value
  • demonstrates mastery of prospecting process
  • prepares and implements call strategy
  • negotiates contracts and commission agreements
  • engages in outside sales calls and industry tradeshows
  • maintains up to date pipeline of business opportunities
  • represents hotel in all sales interactions
  • conducts site inspections based on customer needs
  • coordinates customer specifications
  • enters and maintains account and booking information
  • researches and generates new leads through database research and proactive sales efforts
  • provides solutions that achieve and protect hotel financial goals
  • collaborates with Hilton Worldwide Sales and Hilton Legal as needed
