Job Description
Nexion Health Services is a leading provider of post-acute care and rehabilitation services focused on delivering high-quality care to seniors and individuals requiring extended recovery and long-term care. As a nationally recognized company, Nexion operates a network of Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF) and Long-Term Care (LTC) centers dedicated to medical, rehabilitation, and personal care services underpinned by a commitment to excellence and compassionate patient care. The company prides itself on fostering a supportive and rewarding workplace environment, which has earned it recognition as a "Great Place to Work." Nexion emphasizes employee well-being with benefits such as telehealth services immediately available to employees and their families, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans, early pay options, and a robust support system including educational advancement, scholarships, and emergency relief programs.
The role of Business Office Manager (BOM) at Nexion is an integral position within the administrative team, substantially impacting the financial operations and billing processes of the facility. This full-time role typically follows a Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM schedule, offering a competitive starting wage ranging from $25.00 to $28.00 per hour, commensurate with experience. The Business Office Manager oversees billing, collections, and the management of resident trust funds, ensuring compliance with both company policies and relevant federal, state, and local regulations.
This position requires expertise in the healthcare billing landscape, specifically Medicare, Medicaid, and insurance billing within Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or Long-Term Care (LTC) settings. Candidates should have at least one year of hands-on experience managing these billing and revenue cycle processes. In this pivotal role, the BOM will coordinate with payors and manage accounts receivable, ensuring that the organization's financial health remains robust and that patient billing is accurate and timely. Alongside financial duties, the role demands adherence to regulatory guidelines and meticulous oversight of resident financial accounts, necessitating strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of healthcare compliance requirements.
Joining Nexion means becoming part of a dynamic team dedicated not only to patient care but also to fostering a workplace that supports career growth and employee success. The company provides opportunities for educational advancement paired with competency-based pay increases, further encouraging professional development. Additionally, employees benefit from early pay services and participation options in FSA, HSA, and 401k programs, contributing to financial stability and long-term planning. Nexion’s commitment to an inclusive and equitable workforce is further illustrated by its equal opportunity employment policy, welcoming candidates from diverse backgrounds to apply and thrive within the organization.
