The role of Business Office Director at Vitality Court Texas Star is a critical leadership position responsible for overseeing the daily business operations of the community. This full-time role combines expertise in accounting, human resources, concierge services, and transportation management to support the delivery of exceptional resident and team member experiences. The Business Office Director partners closely with the Executive Director to ensure smooth and efficient operations, compliance with all state and company regulations, and a positive community culture.
This position demands a dynamic and experienced professional who can lead multiple teams, manage financial processes, maintain accurate records, and support human resources functions such as onboarding, payroll, and performance management. In addition to administrative and operational responsibilities, the Business Office Director actively participates in community events, tours, and leadership duties, helping to cultivate a safe, resident-centered environment. Given the nature of the residential community, this role requires a compassionate leader who is passionate about serving older adults and capable of inspiring their teams to provide high-quality, personalized service.

Job Requirements
- Associate degree or higher in business, healthcare administration, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of relevant leadership experience in assisted living or similar settings
- Proven experience managing accounting and HR functions
- Familiarity with state regulatory requirements and compliance procedures
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and work independently
- Willingness to undergo background check and pass E-Verify
- Availability to work flexible hours including occasional evenings and weekends
Job Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience as a Business Office Director (Assisted Living/Memory Care preferred)
- Strong leadership, organizational, and customer service skills
- Knowledge of basic accounting processes and HR best practices
- Experience with compliance, audits, and state regulations
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work occasional evenings/weekends as needed
- CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain
- Passion for serving older adults
Job Duties
- Lead and manage the Business Office, Concierge, and Transportation teams
- Oversee accounts payable, billing, deposits, collections, and budgeting
- Maintain accurate resident files, lease paperwork, and billing records
- Manage payroll processes, HR documentation, onboarding, and personnel files
- Support hiring, coaching, training, performance reviews, and team development
- Ensure compliance with state regulations and company policies
- Participate in community tours, events, and the Leader on Duty rotation
- Promote a safe, positive, and resident-centered environment
