Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts is a globally renowned luxury hospitality company recognized for its unwavering commitment to exceptional service and creating memorable experiences. Powered by a team of passionate individuals dedicated to excellence, Four Seasons fosters a culture rooted in the Golden Rule – treating others as one would like to be treated. This principle drives the company to deliver world-class employee experiences, which in turn enable its people to craft outstanding guest experiences around the world. The company’s ethos revolves around genuine heart and personalization, ensuring that every guest, resident, and partner feels valued and cared for. As a symbol of prestige in luxury hospitality, Four Seasons consistently ranks among Fortune Magazine’s "100 Best Companies to Work For" and prides itself on maintaining a supportive environment that promotes growth, inclusivity, and innovation.
Located in the heart of Denver’s vibrant theatre district, the Four Seasons Hotel Denver offers an urban retreat that combines sophisticated mountain city living with premium luxury amenities. This AAA Five Diamond rated hotel boasts 239 ultra-spacious guest rooms and suites, 100 private residences, a gourmet dining experience at EDGE Restaurant & Bar, and a luxury spa. Guests can indulge in locally sourced culinary delights, handcrafted cocktails, and a variety of rejuvenating spa treatments, all set against the backdrop of Denver’s rich cultural events, sporting spectacles, and outdoor recreational opportunities. The hotel provides 24-hour room service and is situated just a short drive from Colorado’s popular ski slopes, making it an ideal destination for both leisure and business travelers.
The Four Seasons Hotel Denver is currently seeking a Business Development Group Sales Manager who is driven by delivering exceptional service and has a proven track record in luxury hotel sales, particularly in business development. The role centers on identifying and cultivating new group business opportunities through proactive prospecting, strategic outreach, and relationship building. The successful candidate will be a motivated sales professional with deep market insight, disciplined sales habits, and the ability to close new group business deals that contribute substantially to the hotel’s revenue and occupancy goals. This position offers a salary range of $85,000 to $89,000 and provides the opportunity to work within a dynamic team characterized by adaptability, passion for service, professionalism, and teamwork. The Business Development Manager will play a critical role in expanding the hotel’s market share by securing group bookings across varied segments such as corporate, association, SMERF (social, military, educational, religious, fraternal), and incentive travel markets.
In addition to driving revenue through new business, the role requires close collaboration with revenue management to implement optimized pricing strategies and enhance competitive positioning. The role emphasizes the importance of market intelligence by monitoring local and national trends, competitor actions, and evolving demand patterns. Maintaining strong, ongoing relationships with meeting planners, corporate clients, and third-party intermediaries is essential, along with representing the hotel at industry events to foster further networking and business growth. This position not only demands a strategic and results-oriented mindset but also a high level of integrity, effective communication skills, and a genuine commitment to the Four Seasons culture of hospitality excellence. The role offers numerous benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, 401k with company matching, discounted public transit passes, complimentary stays at Four Seasons properties worldwide, and other employee conveniences that reinforce the company’s reputation as an employer of choice among luxury hotel brands.
