Job Requirements
- Experience in similar position within an upscale restaurant environment preferred
- Excellent attention to detail
- Must possess the ability to handle multiple tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must possess a team spirited attitude and a willingness to help
- Ability to effectively communicate with department managers, team members and guests
- Ability to retain and give general hotel information
- Must possess a strong team spirit
- Must work well in stressful, high pressure situations
- Will stand for long periods of time
- Proper lifting techniques required
- Ability to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects
- Ability to move throughout the hotel (standing, walking, kneeling, bending) for extended periods
- Manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and ability to work with hands above shoulders
- Ability to tolerate exposure to heat, cold, chemicals, noisy environment
- Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly, pushing or pulling objects up to 100 pounds
- Ability to work under variable temperature conditions and multitask

Job Duties
- Obtain service area assignment(s) at the beginning of each shift
- Greet guests promptly as they are seated and bring water to table
- Remove used tableware between courses and provide tableware for next course
- Clear tables after guests and take tableware to dish room for washing
- Clean tabletops, chairs, and booths between seating, check and clean floors as required
- Reset and arrange tabletops
- Respond appropriately to guest requests and communicate guest needs to servers
- Assist servers with food delivery during busy periods and large parties
- Wash dishes in absence of dishwasher or as directed
- Abide by legal standards and TIPS alcohol training guidelines
- Provide 100% guest satisfaction by demonstrating genuine hospitality
- Perform other duties as required to ensure smooth restaurant operations
