The Bus Attendant role at Hilton Miami Airport Blue Lagoon is a vital position within our team, dedicated to elevating guest satisfaction through meticulous care in dining service operations. The Bus Attendant is responsible for ensuring that dining areas are impeccable, well-organized, and prepared for guests, facilitating a seamless dining experience from start to finish. Tasks include setting and clearing tables promptly and correctly, replenishing supplies at food stations, assisting servers by delivering beverages and breads, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area. Employees in this role also interact with guests, responding to inquiries and requests in a timely and courteous manner to ensure satisfaction.

Beyond the core responsibilities, the Bus Attendant is integral to supporting overall hotel operations by performing general cleaning tasks, folding napkins for all meal periods, replenishing condiments, and assisting with guest seating and special requests when necessary. Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in hospitality or related field preferred
  • Ability to stand for extended periods

Job Duties

  • Set and prepare tables for dining, including folding napkins, cleaning and placing tableware, and serving water
  • Ensure tableware is in good and working condition and report any defects for repair
  • Stock, maintain and clean designated food stations
  • Assist food servers with table service, including serving beverages and breads
  • Retrieve and transport dirty tableware to dishwashing area
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
  • Perform general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products as assigned
  • Fold napkins for all meal periods to maintain adequate supply
  • Replenish condiments and restock side stands
  • Perform other duties such as cleaning unexpected spills, greeting and seating guests, and attending required meetings
