Job Requirements

  • 3-5 years of general manager experience in a restaurant or retail setting
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Must be able to perform under pressure in a high-volume setting
  • Must have reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the US
  • ServSafe certification preferred

Job Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of general manager experience in a restaurant or retail setting
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Must be able to perform under pressure in a high-volume setting
  • ServSafe certification preferred
  • Strong critical thinking and leadership skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management
  • Experience in managing staff and restaurant operations
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

Job Duties

  • Ensure team provides outstanding service and satisfied guests
  • Hire, train and coach the restaurant team
  • Utilize GPS Hospitality systems to run a high-quality restaurant, especially accurate projections and great schedules
  • Implement restaurant controls, especially cash and inventory
  • Maintain frequent contact with the public, business, and community organizations to develop and improve public relations
  • Meet standards for speed of service, food safety and cleanliness
  • Demonstrate strong critical thinking skills
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment and ensure all equipment is clean and maintained
  • Work all shifts including breakfast, lunch, dinner, late night, and weekends
  • Follow all government regulations, employment law, food safety, operations policies and cash policies
  • Supervise in accordance with GPS values, traits and behaviors
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of management about plans, progress and problems
  • Successfully implement all marketing promotions
  • Participate in the implementation of company policies, standards, training and management development
  • Train and develop assistant managers and manager trainees in management skills and technical knowledge
