Job Requirements
- 3-5 years of general manager experience in a restaurant or retail setting
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Must be able to perform under pressure in a high-volume setting
- Must have reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
- Must be at least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the US
- ServSafe certification preferred
Job Qualifications
- 3-5 years of general manager experience in a restaurant or retail setting
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must be able to perform under pressure in a high-volume setting
- ServSafe certification preferred
- Strong critical thinking and leadership skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management
- Experience in managing staff and restaurant operations
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
Job Duties
- Ensure team provides outstanding service and satisfied guests
- Hire, train and coach the restaurant team
- Utilize GPS Hospitality systems to run a high-quality restaurant, especially accurate projections and great schedules
- Implement restaurant controls, especially cash and inventory
- Maintain frequent contact with the public, business, and community organizations to develop and improve public relations
- Meet standards for speed of service, food safety and cleanliness
- Demonstrate strong critical thinking skills
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment and ensure all equipment is clean and maintained
- Work all shifts including breakfast, lunch, dinner, late night, and weekends
- Follow all government regulations, employment law, food safety, operations policies and cash policies
- Supervise in accordance with GPS values, traits and behaviors
- Communicate effectively with all levels of management about plans, progress and problems
- Successfully implement all marketing promotions
- Participate in the implementation of company policies, standards, training and management development
- Train and develop assistant managers and manager trainees in management skills and technical knowledge
